Nour, Mohamed and family

Nour and Mohamed are the parents of three beautiful daughters Mira (3), Hala and Tia (1). Nour gave birth to their twin girls during the war. Imagine giving birth during this time, a time where accessing clean water and fresh food is extremely difficult. The pain of labour under the sounds of heavy bombing and army tanks surrounding you. They were displaced from their warm home, having to leave all their belongings behind. The twins have never slept in a bed and after further displacement they are now sheltering in a tent with the rest of their family. 

"After I gave birth to my twins, the fear became more and more. The bombing around us every day and we survived many times but we don't know if we will survive next time or not. Indeed, we are alive but on the dead lists. We need help, we do not have even the necessities of life."

Now there is a ceasefire, and they want to return home but they do not know if there is a home to return to. The last time they saw pictures of their house ten months ago it was partly damaged. They hope there has been no futher damage since.
