Reem's family
Reem's family consists of 20 people, seven of which are children. They, like many others were displaced several times, spending a long time living in tents. Now they have returned to their destroyed house and try to make it habitable again. They struggle to buy food, clothes, and water. Since the ceasefire, they have moved back to their destroyed house and are trying to make it habitable. They suffer from the cold as the house is full of holes and there is no electricity or running water. They have not been getting any food aid and depend on buying it from the market where prices are high.
Reems's mother has diabetes, her brother has a torn ligament in his knee and needs medical care, Reem's aunt suffers from a nerve damage. Reem's sister's studies at the university were interrupted after only 12 days and she is currently not able to study her law degree that she had worked very hard for.
